Lorée Day in LA - A Day of Master Classes featuring the oboists of the LA Philharmonic & Alain de Gourdon

On Monday, January 18, 2010, RDG hosted a very successful day of master classes featuring Ariana Ghez, Marion Kuszyk, Anne Gabriele & Carolyn Hove, plus a Q&A with famed oboe maker Alain de Gourdon (F. Lorée Paris).

Lorée instruments and accessories were available for purchase during the day.

A beautiful artist recital given by the oboists of the Los Angeles Philharmonic concluded the event.

Thank you so much to Alain de Gourdon, the Philharmonic oboists, and masterclass participants and attendees for a wonderful day!

On October 19, 2009, RDG Woodwinds hosted a very enjoyable and successful masterclass featuring Peter Cooper, principal oboist of the Colorado Symphony.  Mr. Cooper played a short recital and then worked with five talented masterclass participants on music ranging from Bach to Vaughan Williams.  The masterclass was presented jointly by Marigaux, and attendees had a chance to try a variety of Marigaux oboes after the class. Below, you can see a slideshow of photos from the class.  To see a bigger version of the slideshow in a separate tab, click in the slideshow box.
