Used by fine oboists the world over, the RDG USA Gouging machine is a precision machine guaranteed to gouge cane accurately to within .01mm and designed to give many years of service. The stainless steel blade is mounted such that it can be adjusted up and down as well as left to right, and the carriage that the blade is mounted on may be adjusted to control the depth of the gouge. In addition, the RDG USA Gouging Machine comes equipped with its own guillotine and arrives to you complete in a carrying case and a quarter pound of tube cane in the diameter of your choice. We will also include the "mini cleaning kit" free of charge. The standard RDG USA Oboe Gouger comes with an 11mm bed and 11mm blade and will produce a center to side cutting ratio of 4:3. We also offer customized bed/blade combinations to produce your preferred measurements. 10.0 and 10.5mm beds are available in addition to the standard 11mm bed, and blades are available in measurements of 10.0, 10.5, 10.75, and 10.9 in addition to the standard 11mm blade.
